| Bio/Admin History | Kathleen Raine was born in London, England, and was a contemporary and friend of William Empson, J. Bronowski, Humphrey Jennings and other followers of I.A. Richards. During the 1940s, she began to write poetry. Her collections of poems include Stone and Flower and The Kingdom according to St. John. Her critical works include Blake and Tradition and Yeats the Initiate, the latter published by Dolmen Press in 1986. |
| Scope and Content | The collection consists mainly of material generated in the process of publishing the book Yeats the Initiate (1986), consisting of typescripts, drafts, paste-ups, illustrations, and proofs; plus correspondence, mainly to Liam Miller at the Dolmen Press. |
