University of Victoria Archives
The University of Victoria Archives is dedicated to preserving and providing public access to the valuable material in its care. This includes the University's institutional archives; private archives of individuals and organizations from the University community; private archives documenting the history of the Pacific west coast region relating primarily to environmental studies, women's studies, arts and culture, and political affairs.
The Archives provides records management support to administrative and academic offices to ensure preservation of the University's corporate memory. The Archives also assists the University Secretary's Office with Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act compliance administration.
