Information for UVic Alumni
Interlibrary loan (ILL) services for UVic alumni are partially subsidized by the University Libraries and are available for a specially reduced fee of $14 per item. Additional charges apply for shipping to off-campus addresses. For further information on charges, please refer to our cost structure chart.
Continuing Studies Library Service is the unit that processes ILL requests for alumni. Payment must be made in advance by major credit card (VISA or MasterCard) or cheque.

When contacting Continuing Studies Library Service, please provide full details of the item(s) you wish to obtain via ILL. If you are a UVic alumni, do not submit interlibrary loan requests through the online forms on the Libraries Gateway.
Other library services are available to UVic alumni. These include:
- delivery of books and articles from the UVic libraries
- literature searches and reference assistance
