INFOLINE


INFOLINE is a library service designed to assist University of Victoria distance students find the information they need to complete their course work. As a distance education student, you can use these pages to learn how to search the University of Victoria Libraries databases from off campus.

You can contact INFOLINE to request the books or articles you select and the materials will be sent to your home. If you have any questions about searching the databases or finding information, we can help with that, too.

Through INFOLINE you may request...
  • the loan of any circulating material held in the University of Victoria Libraries
  • copies of articles from journals, magazines or newspapers in the Libraries' collections
  • interlibrary loans
  • the loan of items identified in distance education course packages as available through INFOLINE
  • assistance in formulating an appropriate search strategy or selecting relevant database
